Day 1/Beginning of Day 2

So I'm posting about yesterday, because yesterday was pretty hectic and I didn't get a chance to come on here.

For breakfast I had cereal and grapes. So my calorie count at that point in the day was 311.

For lunch I ate breaded chicken covered in orange sauce and a white peach. Caloric total: 628

I snacked on some sourdough pretzels throughout the day so I'm adding 100 calories for those. Caloric total: 728

I had a somewhat small lunch/breakfast yesterday because last night we had friends over for dinner, and we ate a huge meal.

Dinner was: Baked corn on the cob, rosemary potatoes, grilled ribs, watermelon, and chocolate cake for dessert.

Corn: 160 calories, Rosemary potatoes: 120, Ribs: 470, Watermelon: 46, and Cake: 550 (I didn't finish my slice)

So the rough estimate of my calorie count yesterday was 2074 calories.

Not bad, but not really that great either. I didn't exercise much yesterday due to work I had to do, and other things. I probably burned 100 calories because I moved some things up and down the stairs, folded some laundry, and danced in my kitchen. I don't know if it is more or less, but that bring my calorie count to 1974 calories.

If I don't exercise at all, for my weight, age, and height, I will burn 1559.2 calories a day. So subtracting that from my calorie count equals 414.8 calories.

Not too awful, but if I had exercised, I would feel much better.

But today is a new day.

This morning for breakfast I had a cheese/pepperoni quesadilla. My calorie count so far for today is 335. I am also eating grapes this morning so I'm at 371 calories. But I've worked out today, I burned 15 calories on a stationary bike, 35 on a leg press, 25 on a ball balance, and 20 with a weighted ball throw. Not much, but I was doing it for physical therapy, so I can only do so much.

I'll be exercising today, so tomorrow I'll post what I ate for lunch/dinner and how I exercised.

Good luck to all who are trying to lose weight! We can do this!
